Walsingham Academy will graduate 49 students in the class of 2014 in a ceremony at 11 a.m. Saturday.
The graduates garnered 197 college acceptances and $3.2 million in merit-based scholarships and awards.
Two of the 49 students tied for the top spot in the class, as Liam Archer Kiniry and Dylan Thomas Sullivan were named co-valedictorians. Carley Alexandria McQuain is the salutatorian for the class of 2014.

Liam Kiniry, co-valedictorian

3. School Attending: University of Virginia
4. Plans for the future? I plan on pursuing either urban planning or marketing with a minor in studio art, with an emphasis on graphic design. I would like to work in advertising, architecture, or development.
5. Extracurricular Activities? Outside of school I am involved with soccer, Key Club, World Cultures Club, and Fashion Club.
6. Dream Job? I would like to be an Art Director at an advertising agency, but I am not sure right now.
7. Best Stress Reliever: Baking, spending time with friends, and art.
8. On the Weekends I’m … out with my friends.
9. Person I most admire: The person I most admire is Laverne Cox for having the courage to assert that who a person is can never be wrong.

2. Birthplace: Chicago, Ill.
3. School Attending: University of Virginia
4. Plans for the future: I am attending the University of Virginia on an Army Reserve Officer Training Corps Scholarship where I plan on studying either Foreign Affairs or Economics.
5. Extracurricular Activities? Outside of school I am involved with cross country, Madrigals, swim team (Captain), golf team, National Honor Society President, and Student Government Association Secretary and Treasurer.
6. Dream Job? I am not sure yet. I would like to do something meaningful that would allow me to travel and see the world.
7. Best Stress Reliever? Late night trips to the gym. I love having the gym to myself at the end of the day. It gives me time to relax and think.
8. On the Weekends I’m … golfing and spending time with my friends.
9. Person I most admire: The person I most admire is my grandpa. It’s hard to describe how great he was. He was practically a saint.

2. Birthplace: Williamsburg
3. School Attending: University of Virginia
4. Plans for the future: While at University of Virginia I plan on studying human biology, psychology, and sociology. I want to continue to be involved in the community and in service projects. After graduating from UVA I plan on pursuing either a medical or law degree.
5. Extracurricular Activities: Outside of school I am involved with a competitive dance company, as well as teaching dance to elementary school children. I have been a volunteer with the Jamestown-Yorktown Foundation’s Broadsides Programs for the past six years.
6. Dream Job: As crazy as it sounds, I would love to be an FBI Profiler.
7. Best Stress Reliever: Whenever I’m stressed I find a place to dance.
8. On the Weekends, I’m … dancing or spending time with family and friends.
9. Person I most admire: The person I most admire is my Nana, because she has always given unconditional love and support. She is always honest with me, whether I want to hear it or not. She is never afraid to share her opinion with other people, something that I wish I could do.
